Investing in Communities

Keyano College
Canadian Natural continues to be a long-term supporter of Keyano College. We provided funding for their fieldhouse, supported their practicums and administration programs, and contributed to their student awards, which play a pivotal role in elevating the students’ academic experience.

Alberta Mine Safety Association competition
We participated in various competitions to promote emergency preparedness and safety. Our Albian Mine Rescue team placed first overall in the Alberta Mine Safety Association competition, and the Canadian Natural Fire Department competed in the Firefighter Stairclimb Challenge while raising funds for Wellspring Alberta.

Fort McKay First Nation Treaty Days
The Fort McKay First Nation Treaty Days is an annual celebration that commemorates the heritage and treaty rights of Indigenous people. Canadian Natural continues to support this event, with our Horizon Oil Sands team retaining their tug-of-war champion title.

Northern Lights Health Foundation Spring Fling
The Northern Lights Health Foundation hosted their Spring Fling in Fort McMurray, which we were thrilled to sponsor. This event engaged the community while securing funds for vital medical equipment, programs, and services for Wood Buffalo residents.
